Thanks for tuning in this week with us!

I know the team and myself have loved working with the Imaginisce line.

And the response I got from Parker's sweet teacher to the clipboard and candy jar...were outstanding! We're really going to miss her!!

I highly recommend the Teacher's Pet line! Thanks again to Imaginisce! Be sure to pop in next week for ideas using their Wild Things line!

And to thank you for popping in...how about a little Imaginisce?

Leave a comment..let me know a handmade teacher gift idea you have made or is on your list of crafts! We'll pick a name from the comments for this fun assortment of Twitterpated from Imaginisce and announce it next Wednesday, June 3rd!

Thanks to all the teachers for all they do!

  1. My kids aren't in school yet so I haven't given it much thought. When I was little my mom came into my class and we all drew a picture on fabric using special markers. My mom then sewed the pictures into a quilt for the teacher. It hung in her room for years.

I recently saw a little sticky note cover and altered pen that I thought was really cute and would make a great gift!

  2. Thanks for all the teacher ideas! Our last day was yesterday...

I made special cards for the teachers, using Jenni Bowlin Chalkboard alpha stickers in black, Kim Hughes 'Making the Grade' stamps and some awesome papers from Karen Foster - the School Scrapbook Paper Pad, along with the Foofala papers..
Then I wrapped some very nice chocolate bars with the lined school papers, that were stamped and decorated with raffia...

  3. My girls are only 3 and 2, but I've seen some cute altered clipboards that would make a nice teacher gift.

  4. As a retired preschool teacher, one of the best gift I received was a Frozen Juice Can Vase covered with computer printed photos of my class.Inside were"flowers" cut out tracings of each child's hands on cardstock with a pipe cleaner stem inserted between them as the flower stem.It was a keeper.

  5. Well...where to begin. I have made so many teacher gifts/thank-yous!

But the favorite...the tuna can. yeah...sounds strange. But I would take a tuna can, clean it real good. And then cover it with paper. Inside I would fill it with paper filler, and stick paper flowers in it! They made great table decorations and gifts. Sometimes I would fill them with candy and wrap them up with cellophane. Sticking in various teacher necessities in there.

There is one of my favs and the teachers too!

  6. My mom is a teachers' aide and got a really cute gift from one of her students. It was a Styrofoam ball (as the center of a flower)with paper petals glued into a flower pot. The student had used colored push pins to attach wrapped candy (jolly ranchers and such) filling in the empty spaces. It sat on our counter for a while before the candy was all gone!

  7. I am a teacher and this year for all the teachers I made sticky note holders. I took an acrylic frame I found for $1 and cut paper to fit inside, then I embellished the top of the frame with ribbon, buttons etc. Then I stuck the sticky tablet to the frame with glue dots. Everyone seemed to like them.

  9. I always like to give handmade gifts to my sons teachers. This year I made a little note holder with notepaper inside that was stamped. I also decorated a jar and filled it with chocolate. That always is a key ingredient. I know because I am a teacher too!! What a wonderful giveaway. I love everything that Imaginisce puts out.

  12. LOVE this paper line! I make candles, so often give those; Ihave given an outdoor plant in a decorated pot; Lindt chocolate in a decorated jar. A couple of my own special faves received were a bread mix w/ a pot to be baked in; some fabulous corner book-marks; a cross-stitch w/ the all the names of the kids in the class on it. I have found so many new ideas lately, that I am just not sure what I will do for this year!~Romaine

  13. No kids yet, but when I worked in daycare, I loved getting gifts from the kids. I would probably do a small gift set of lotions or such, or candies, packaged in a handmade container and attach a card signed by the child.

  15. I just finished mine! I made a set of 6 note cards with matching envies and wrapped them in a ribbon, put them in a little basket with some chocolates and a book of stamps in a hand made gift card holder. It is so fun to create gifts especially when the receiver appreciates it so much. Thank you for the give away opportunity.
