Miki here and not only do I paper craft, but I love all kinds of crafts! I especially love to read and learn about all different kinds of crafts . Here at the Pursuit of CraftYness blog, we hope to show a variety of things. It’s all about inspiring each other and if we can get someone to try something new…even better!
I have always wanted to learn how to sew, so last summer I took the plunge and signed up for a sewing class. It was great learning the basics, especially how to read patterns. I am by no means an expert, but I enjoy all the fun fabrics there are to choose from and making something. Just like I do with paper! I have found many, many sewers online that are so willing to share their expertise along with patterns they have created for anyone to use.
I wanted to share this great link for an adorable purse on the Tiny Happy Blog.
Her instructions are very easy to follow and she did a great job with posting photos. I don’t know about you guys, but photos sure help me follow along when I ‘m learning something. So grab some fun fabric and give it a try this weekend!
Here’s my version of her great purse and I used fabrics from the Free Spirit Chocolate Lollipop Collection.
Thank you Tiny Happy for such a great tutorial and inspiring blog!
Totally cute Miki! This is so much fun---thanks for your inspiration.
